The 8 Day Week

Our last week here (8 days) and just about everything is packed up. Ben's thesis is just about done. He has been back and forth between creating the slides for his presentation and reading a few chapters of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We have both been taking breaks to squeeze in a chapter or two, I will admit.

Our passports will be in this week, finally. And we are selling off some extra furniture in hopes of downsizing and saving some money on a moving truck.

Last night was Ben's defense 'pep-rally' party. Really, just a better way of saying 'we are leaving soon' party. The 'bon voyage' theme didn't sound as fun. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it, we had fun. Hope you did too.
